A first-of-a-kind, three-year, community-wide wellness initiative is being launched in the city of Solon by Medical Mutual of Ohio, a leading provider of Ohio individual health insurance. Called “Healthy Solon,” this project involves screening citizens for illness, tabulating data on illnesses and the rate of occurrence, and recording the results of any treatments people choose to undergo.

Paula Sauer, Medical Mutual’s vice president of Care Management, said the health of Solon residents will be tracked over the duration of the three-year wellness initiative.

“Through an early health risk assessment (HRA), residents will have the opportunity to identify a potential health issue,” said Sauer. “Health awareness and early detection programs will figure prominently in the first year of the pilot program. Solon residents will be offered blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, along with heart disease, diabetes, lung, skin and prostate cancer screenings,” said Sauer. “Residents will also be encouraged to take part in walking for wellness programs, cooking and nutrition demos, smoking cessation, and stress prevention.”

While Medical Mutual will not be including treatment or medication for any illness discovered during the screening process, it will advise participants of treatment options, allowing them to assess their Ohio healthcare insurance plan for appropriate inclusion

Sauer said at the conclusion of the three-year pilot program, benchmarks will have been established to measure the health of Solon citizens and the overall success of this effort. “Through screenings and HRA’s, if we identify one person at risk or get one person to quit smoking, we will have done our job,” said Sauer.

In addition to Medical Mutual, others supporting Healthy Solon include: Cleveland Clinic Solon Family Health Center, Solon City Schools, Hillcrest Hospital, South Pointe Hospital, AstraZeneca and Pfizer.

Hari ini adalah jumat pertama saya berada di desa Kendalrejo. Sebuah desa wilayah selatan Banyuwangi, berbatasan dengan Kalipait dan Kedungwungu. Pagi jelang shubuh saya terbangun dengan rasa berat di badan, panas demam mendera. Jangan-jangan betul yang di katakan P Slamet tempo hari tentang adanya upaya ‘menguji’ pendatang baru di kampung ini adalah hal biasa. “Pendatang baru di desa itu pasti akan di serang, jadi ya yang betah melek lah!”, katanya tempo hari di telephone.

Saya tidak menghiraukan perkataan itu hingga akhirnya saya merasakan apa yang saya rasakan pagi ini. Malas rasanya berpikir senegatif itu terhadap linkungan yang begitu baik dan ramah ini. Tapi rasanya aneh juga, wong yayng sakit tidak saya saja melainkan anakku yang masih 2 tahun serta istriku juga merasakan sakit yang sama.

Tapi syukurlah jam 8 pagi ini aku sudah mulai membaik, dan berusaha membuag jauh-jauh dzon di hati terhadap lingkunganku yang baru. Apa yang saya rasakan adalah kejadian biasa saat kondisi tubuh beradaptasi dengan cuaca yang lebih dingin atau lebih panas dari yang biasanya ia terima. Dari pada di sibukkan piktor seperti itu ya mending saya fokus untuk rusli zainal sang visioner, saja. O ya, ada di urutan berapa inni?

Astaghfirullah…

Sudah pada tau kan, master Cosaaranda ikutan kontes SEO? Yups, kali ini beliau bukan sebagai ‘orang yang punya hajatan’  kayak cegah satwa punahnya yang dulu melainkan sebagai peserta.  Apa ya gerangan yang mendasari keikutsertaannya? Saya berpikir pasti hadiah, tapi alasan ini beliau tampik sendiri dan menyatakan bahwa hadiah bakal di sumbangkan… Popularitas? itu lelbih tidak mungkin lagi, karena tanpa inipun dia sudah tenar mengisi belantika bloghosphere.

Yang jelas donngeng motivasi dengan tokoh tokoh superhero di dalamnya sangat inspiratis sekali. Superhero kayak Batman, Superman, Spiderman duduk satu frame dalam satu adegan posting. Mereka sang tokoh ternyata adalah manusia biasa yang melakukan kegiatan ekonomi untuk hidupnya. Tapi kasian itu si Batman yang menjadi pecundang dan di looserkan dari tokoh yang lain. Tapi layaknya serial drama di Tipi-tipi akhirnya dia sadar juga kalau dream saja tidak cukup dan memerlukan action.

Duh kepanjangannya ya rasan-rasannya?

Google betul betul hanya sebuah mesin yang tersusun atas algoritma dan berjalan patuh diatas rambu hukumnya. Dia tak berhati dan tak berperasaan. Gak peduli orang atau blogger yang membutuhkan pertolongan atau orang kayak raya semua di sama ratakan. Ergh… www.google.co.id, dot com atau dot-dt yang lain semua saja! Tak berhati

Masak saya nggak update 2 hari saja keyword sudah di geser dari halamannya. Mestinya dia tanya dulu dong… kenapa saya ndak update. Kalao diibaratkan pemimpin google itu kayak… sapa ya? yang bertangan besi itu lo… alias otoriter.

O ya, satu lagi barusan PR update. Dan benar saja blog machineku juga di ennolkan sama dia. tuh otoriter bangets poko’e. Dia itu gak pro rakyat lagh, intinya!

Harukah saya mengayuh perahu Rusli zainal sang visioner berbarengan dengan stop dreaming start action? Sejauh mana kira-kira kemungkinan itu bisa terwujud?

HIngga sekarang rusli zainal sang visioner yang di bawakan oleh blog ini masih terseok di page 6 dan saya menemukan ada tag yang sama di page 12 di undakan paling bontot. Weeleeh, ya? Tapi yen dipikir-pikir itu sudah sngat lumayan karena tag itu tidak di optimasi sedikit pun kecuali satu link ini saja. Maksud saya link ini rusli zainal sang visioner.

Lantas apa kaitan dengan 2, 3 Pulau?

Hingga sekarang, sejak kontes SEO stop dreaming start action di realeaze i do nothing terhadap keyword tersebut kecuali hanya goyang-goyang sedikit saja. Itung itung saya membangung mimpi saja, karena jelas diitu stop dreaming ya konsekwensinya ‘kayak’e saya mesti stop mimpinya. Stop mimpi itu adalah 1, 2 pulau sementara rusli zainal sang visioner adalah pulau yang ketiga. Hm… mesti terlewati semuanya, kah?

Ya.. kalau di rasa berat mending yang satu ditinggal saja ah..
